Spring In The Air

This year I made a promise to enjoy the outdoors and what it holds. So, keeping that in promise, I have been going out at lunch and stopping to breath in the city as well as take in the sights and sounds. A daunting task regardless of career due to the responsibilities we burden ourselves. I took the time today to walk down to 6th avenue and 43rd to sit near the Grace building. There is a sweet public plaza which holds many but is tucked nicely on the corner that you feel sheltered from the city. I brought my lunch and Kindle to eat and read. It was one of the better ideas I have had in some time. There is a peaceful feeling and a calm that sets into my normally frantic mind. I think we all need to find a quiet place as I have been doing. Good for the body, mind and soul.
